My last blog post and I will summarize what I have done until now.
In the beginning of creating our game I started making the camera for the player, the camera did not go as planned and I ended up making 4-5 different cameras with various functions. So I decided that another point of view would be better so I let someone else look at it and I could move on. The next thing was the HUD, the hud contained health, stamina, dimension bar, boss bar and the two player spells(whirlwind and fire weapon). This took some time but went overall fine. Next on the list was creating the fire weapon skill which was fun because you could play with a function in Unity named “Particle System”, where you can make different effects, like fire. This assignment only took time, because it had to look good and feel right. After that I jumped over to making the pause menu. After the pause menu their was only tweaking to be done but something that I had time to make was weapon swing for both player and the boss, meaning that when an attack is made, an effect will appear that shows the trail of the weapon.
I think the Big Game Project was a really good last project before the school ends, I have learnt very much from doing this and I can have this knowledge furthermore.
